Hidden Love Note

Bubba just finished a drawing for one of our clients...and I found his hidden love note in this one!

The drawing is a dedication for the client's family. All of them served and the hearts are very sentimental to her. We hope you enjoy it!

Military Visitor

We had very exciting visitor stop by the studio today, Sergeant First Class Troy Lusk. What an honor it was to meet and visit with him. We love when our military heroes pay us a visit! We hope you enjoy your
2011 Freedom Rock® Calendar, Troy. God Bless!

Iowa Mural

Say goodbye to the "Iowa Mural" which was featured on the east side of our studio. We have installed a new, insulated garage door in its place to help with heating costs this winter. Many of you have had your picture taken in front of this mural-so it'd be wise to hold on to those pictures! Prints are available upon requests. Just email the studio if you're interested: sorensenstudios@yahoo.com

Reg & Linc

Is anyone as obsessed with their dogs as we are? Any free time we get goes to spending time with these guys-Reagan & Lincoln. We can't wait for our renovations at the studio to be complete because they will be coming to work with us every day! Bubba even had our contractors install a special window for them to look out of in his painting studio.
Our goal is to one day start a dog rescue-especially aimed at the "pit bull" breed to help fight all the negative biased against them!

Here are a few pictures from our last outing with the boys. They're so funny!
Enjoy...

The Sorensen Family

Here are some pictures from our family photo shoot. Bubba and I worked together to get the best shots we could. But keep in mind we did have the camera set to automatic and expected a bunch of one to four year olds to stare into a camera with no one behind it-but overall I say we did pretty good!

I'm so thankful for this family, including Mike & Dixie, Heidi, Brian & Mandi. They're all so wonderful to me and I couldn't ask for better in-laws. And who can forget their adorable children, Tucker, Taylor & Isabelle who constantly keep me laughing some way or another!

We grabbed a few extra shots of Mike & Dixie-I think they look so genuinely happy-love those kinds of photographs...when you know they're real!

Manolis

Here are some pictures of my adorable nephew, Manolis. He is so special to us all as he was named after our very dear brother who passed away several years ago. (who he resembles a lot by the way!)

His mommy & daddy (my brother Gabe and his wife Amber) invited us to the Zoo one weekend so of course I had to bring my camera along! I snapped these shots while Manolis was entertaining himself in the hotel room. He usually doesn't hold still for more than two seconds-so I was taking advantage of this rare moment!

Reg & Linc

How cute are our two dogs, Reagan and Lincoln? Took this shot of them eating their birthday cupcakes-that's right, I said birthday cupcakes! We have birthday parties for our dogs. They're very special to us. So special that they're even mentioned in our REDBOOK magazine article: http://www.redbookmag.com/love-sex/hot-husband/hottest-husband-winner-2010?click=main_sr

Tour Bus @ The Freedom Rock®

We had a tour bus at The Freedom Rock® today. It was a great turn out! I snapped a few pictures on my cell phone of the bus leaving and a few of the visitors getting their picture with Bubba.

p.s. Right before Bubba and I left I had a little furry friend visit me-a caterpillar! I made Bubba snap a picture on my cell as I love caterpillars because of their awesome transformation into a butterfly. What's more naturally beautiful than that!?

Today we were scheduled to meet a tour bus at The Freedom Rock®. It was a full one! As usual, it was so nice meeting everyone and we appreciate your support so much. Which reminds me-this group really liked our "Freedom Rock Calendars" get yours today before it's too late! Special thanks to Liz Gilman for working so hard to schedule all of these tours.

The rest of the morning was spent finishing up editing one of my seniors, Dyllon. Sorry ladies-it's not Taylor Lautner but he's just as cute and such a doll to work with! I loved his personal style and attitude, which you can pick up from the photographs.

His mother Patricia has been a very loyal client of ours. She has driven her kids to me from over two hours away for the past two years! At first I asked her-why are you traveling so far for pictures? Then I thought-why am I asking and shut up! Thank you so much, Patricia & Dyllon. Here are a few pictures from our shoot....Enjoy!
